Nice work, the effects looks good, but i think it would have been better without the grains.

Hi Gayle,

well, that's a cool shot and a nice way to wait for the order =) I like the toning here and the weird perspective.

Hugs, Thilo

gayle, i can't express myself like i wanted.. maybe in Spanish...
the pic intrigues me but i don't know why it doesn't work for me... maybe a horizontal crop or even put off all the wall and center the image for the woman only and the plates...
well...
sorry

Cool looking result Gayle....the grain and the wash work very well together + the subject matter....although I thought she was washing the dishes..

hi,no,not metallic...i am referring to the lith print process which is a tonal quality which shows flattened mid-tones and dark browns in the shadows or dark pts. of the image...it is one of the alternative processes that is difficult and messy to achieve in the darkroom,so now many simulate it digitally...here is one person's technique, tho' not sure about why the IR...

Yeah,digi-newbies are a pain,huh?! bahahahahaa
wish i knew a drop of what you know digitally,cookie....i will be up the creek without a paddle if i ever switch to digi cam!
cheers,gayle

So does "lith" kinda mean metallic? Coz if it does, I'm in love with the process. Forgive my ignorance, but I'm one of those dumbass newbies who started with digital... ;P
