Hi again Barbara. Thank you for the very kind comment on this image. I'm drawn to the reflections as well. Perhaps there is a little Alice in Wonderland in all of us... to see our lives from a new perspective Through The Looking Glass. Thanks for looking at my work. ~ Warm regards, Rocky

Ah, yes. I see you are a BST (Big Stick Therapist). Always effective therapy. LOL!! I use a two-by-four between the eyes and it (usually) gets the necessary response. Of course, I just need to give myself a little more time to recover from hitting myself too often. :) Linda, you crack me up! ~Roc

LOL! You could see the gears turning in my head, huh? LOL! The thought (adding a goatee) DID cross my mind. :) Glad your finacee is doing better and will make a complete recovery. I'm sure he will have to make some significant changes in diet and exercise now, huh? It's good to have you back online again. I'll go check out your new pict. Huggers! ~Rocky

LOL...a goatee....no no no...:) My fiancee is going to have a long road to recovery, but he's strong and determined...and he has me...:) Hehehe...so hopefully he will make a full recovery. He is young and had a stroke, secondary to high blood pressure, but he's very lucky because it could have been worse. The doctor says he believes that he can make a full recovery. It was a real shocker for all of us, so unexpected at his age, but we are dealing with it. Today is the first day I've been able to post an image and hopefully will be able to have some regular time on the computer again. He has to have PT everyday. Thanks for asking and big big hugs right back at you!!! :) Linda
PS now don't go adding a goatee to my picture...hahaha..:)

LOL! Oh, look! There's Hercules in the upper left corner. LOL! How did HE get there?!! He's such a ham! :) Thanks sweetie for the detailed critique. I love it when you give me feedback on my work! Okay, HDR means High Dynamic Range and Photoshop has a script called Merge to HDR. What this does is it takes three exposures and merges them together. If you know how to do "bracketing" in your camera, this is a way to merge these images together to maximizes the image for hightlights, midtones and shadows (which the script will keep the details in all these areas). The color saturation is enhanced as well. Hope this makes sense to you. {{{HUG}}} ~ Warmest regards, Rocky

Hehehe...you knew someone would ask..here I am? Gorgeous blues and whites....Hugs to you!! :)

oh.. sure... my friend!!!
"This could be heaven This could be heaven for everyone
This could be heaven This could be heaven This could be heaven for everyone
In these days of cool reflection You come to me and everything seems alright In these days of cold affections You sit by me and everything's fine
This could be heaven for everyone This world could be fed, this world could be fun This could be heaven for everyone This world could be free, this world could be one
In this world of cool deception Just your smile can smooth my ride These troubled days of cruel rejection You come to me, soothe my troubled mind
This could be heaven for everyone This world could be fed, this world could be fun This should be love for everyone This world should be free, this world could be one We should bring love to our daughters and sons Love, love, love, love This could be heaven for everyone
You know that
This could be heaven for everyone This could be heaven for everyone This could be heaven for everyone
Listen - what people do to other souls They take their lives, destroy their goals Their basic pride and dignity Is stripped and torn and shown no pity When this should be heaven for everyone
This could be heaven for everyone"
(original song from R.Taylor)
i hope all is well.. but if you believe in the mother-nature-love..
cheers my friend roby

Thank you very much Stan. As I mentioned, this was my first "sucessful" attempt at HDR. I've tried to get a good HDR image many times but it never seemed to work. This one seemed to get the highlights and shadows just right. Now, if I can only do it again... Thanks again for the kind words. ~ Warm regards, Rocky

Thanks very much Jim. I like the reflection in this as well. The fish in the water were cooperating for a minute. Every time I tried to take the shot they were crowding around the camera thinking that I was going to feed them (hungry little buggers). They would stir-up the water a lot but I managed to get a brief moment of inactivity to take this. Thanks for the kind words. ~ Warm regards, Rocky

Hi Gail. Thanks for the kind words. I think that there is a little illusion-play in this shot. The palm trees are actually dwarf palms but the angle makes them look like they are full grown. Thanks for looking at my work. I really appreciate you stopping by to comment. ~ Warm regards, Rocky
