My Dear Albert!
Again, you are so very thoughtful and kind. What a beautiful gift :)Interestingly in another site, I am known as Golden Rose! :) I say now: "Into the Heart of a Golden Rose"... and my Heart smiles... :)
Indeed, things are "improving" in my Life... I still, (as I think we all do) take one breath at a time! :) And yes, you stimulate me with your friendship to feel even finer, come what may!!! :)
I am pleased you and Jo are doing OK. :) :) :) I wish you both Health and Happiness!
I will visit your website at first opportunity.
Hugs to You my Friend, Aniko :)

Hi dear Michele,
There is an old Dutch saying "Better late than never". How true for this very late reaction, sorry for this. But I still want to thank you for your nice words and I am glad you like this shot. I enclosed a new not before published shot of one of my favourites. Hope you like it. May it bring you health, happiness and that your nice wishes become reality.
Thanks for your friendship Michele, Albert Jacobs

Hi dear Aniko,
"Better late than never", is an old Dutch expression and I think also in other languages. Nevertheless, I still wish to thank you for your kind and nice words. Yes flowers are indeed a great treasure. So here is the original soft yellow version for you, my friend.
May it bring you health, happiness and lucky days, Albert Jacobs

Hi dear Giuseppe,
Glad you like it and thanks for your nice comment and for adding me as your friend, which I feel as an honour. I had a quick look on your beautiful portfolio. Sure I will return for detailviews. I already saw some splendid shots, that immediately draw my attention. So I think I am going to have a great time when I take closer looks.
Wish you and yours all the best my friend, Albert Jacobs

I love the crisp white of the flower combined with the soft focus. To me, it is a pleasing balance. Just beautiful, Albert! Flowers are such a source of wonder, and when finely captured as you have done here, they can be treasured forever!
Warmest Wishes, Aniko :)

Hello Miguel,
I missed something in my reaction. So (correcting), I did use a tripod on this one.

Hello Miguel,
This was from origin a colorphoto (lightyellow). I worked on it by using the programm Photoshop. That is how I achieved BW.
The lightmeasuring was done with the standard utility in the camera Nikon D100.
I hope I did not disappoint you ?, but that's the reality concerning this picture.
Greetz, Albert

Dear Albert,
This is a beautiful image. I like the composition, the water drops on the petals, and the entire softness in black and white which can sometimes be trickey ...> I think anyway.
Best wishes, Michele~

IMHO this is a nice picture, with well achived whites (wich isn't that easy - how did you measure light?). Anyway (and please don't get me wrong) aperture should have allowed a larger part of the image to be in focus (all of the front flower. Looking into aperture value you introduced it should be focused, looking at time value makes me wonder you had no tripod and shoot even though. However, it's still an eyecatching photo.
