About	I love shiny things in black and white. I should have stopped down to get more shine on the curved part of the bottle, but it was the last shot on the roll.

Ah now I see the problem. The Epson Perfection 1240U which I'm using at a computer lab has a blind spot along the edge. I'll upload the fixed one tomorrow.

I agree about the top of the bottle. Wow yeah. The print has just the right amount above the cap, but it seems I should rescan. There's no balance between top and bottom.
I didn't even see the left-right thing until I saw the print. I kinda like it. I think it's the lensing effect of the water.
Sometime in the next month I may take a different B&W shot of the bottle. In the mornings I can use the left window as a reflector along with the sunlight coming in through the right window.

Like the subject matter, but the composition doesn't grab me. Maybe it is the split screen effect with the balck area to the right and the window area to the left and the top of the bottle cut off. Perhaps a different angle. I too like this type of subject matter!
