About This one and "First snow, first wind" are quite similar. I can't say which one is better, so I would be glad for any comments.

No problem! It's so similar to the swiis flag that nobody would notice. And bringing the danis flag has the added value of turning old good Helvetia to a... *European* country at last!

Now, agent BMN (Big Mouth Nick) has to run for cover, since the secret missionaries of the mounts will not be glad to here the above! :-)

Take care (and cover too ;-))

Yes, it must be!

Too many spies, agents, and other suspicious persons here! ;-)

Which reminds me of Rory Gallagher's Philby - what a song and what a musician that has been!

******************
Now ain't it funny that I feel like Philby,
A stranger on a foreign shore,
I've got my plans and I must move quickly,
There's a knock upon the door,
Still in transit and I'm close to danger,
My cover can't be blown,
It's getting strange and it's getting crazy,
Tell me, what is going on?
******************

Go to http://www.lastoftheindependents.com/philby.htm for the complete text of the song

And that guy had of course to die while Madonnas and all the other "performers" still make me dizzy!

Watch out agent Annemette!

Nick (the smoker from the X-files ;-))

Many many thanks for the nice detailed comment, Denis. I do such macros from time to time though I have the feeling that I was shoting more of them some time ago. It seems just as if it were getting more and more difficult for me to find something which I consider worthy for capturing it in the classical macro way. But still, I also like these ones here and the next few that come in the next days.

As about the snow, I had a bit of EV correction upwards, +1/3 EV if I remember correctly.

Best wishes and thanks a lot again,

Nick

I didn't mention that before, Annemette. For me it looks like some kind of extraterrestrial being - a bit like the predator! And who knows if that's a predator lad or lady :-/

Anyway, thanks a lot for the comment and have a nice day!

Nick, Your last three Macros seem to be some of your best yet posted. I think they are in a classic style that will probably appeal to most people and upset no one. But they are masterfully done as far as I am concerned. The exposure, colour and composition are all first rate.

Snow can be very challenging to work with. You have mastered it well in the last two in particular.
Good job on these classic macros.

Excellent, Nick and do you know why? As a thumbnail it looks like a woman looking to her left in the right side of the photo making it very fascinating.
Best wishes
Annemette
