Thanks Robin, I really do appreciate the encouragement. I sometimes think I have a fairly good natural sense of composition, but often need to pay more attention to the technical aspects of what I'm trying to capture (in other words, think about DOF and shutter speed and how they will affect the result of what I'm shooting). My photog friend here, got me interesting to shooting some macros, which has forced my to pay more attention to these elements, and I think has improved my skills overall.
I really appreciate your comments.

Hi Maryanne...In your bio you say that most of your better photos are "happy accidents"...I think not, especially in this case, took a good eye to get this shot. Well composed, wonderfully rustic with excellent color and texture. Not to say to photog friend is "rustic", might be taken the wrong way! ;)

As it happens, he's very good, although I do have many friends who are not particularly good photographers -- so it's not a requirement. Appreciation for a good margarita is pretty important though. ;-)
