Thanks, Doyle. It does have the makings of another Warhol-like piece. When I first did this picture, the color appalled me. Then after looking at it for a bit I realized that the color somehow works in a weird way, playing off the notion of a dead rose.
On to the soup can shots.......

With a Horizontal Flip and another complementary color you could go Warhol again! Unique shot Jan . . . and . . . though I can't for the life of me figure out why . . . I kinda' like it! ;)

Michele -- Thanks for the comment on this one. I did take some heat from my wife and daughter on this one; they do not like filters, effects and colors that do not exist in nature.
Luckily for me, I do these to please myself. I don't think the rose bush will be back in the Spring---- but you never know about them; they do weird things after you count them out.

WoW ... somehow I missed this one Jan and I really like it !! Wonderful color and abstract.. I like the textured BG, and the trellis and dead rose details !! Stunning ! 7+

I like what you did to the trellis and the rose, also the background looking like Japanese paper, but the colour......mmmm...I'm not so sure!

Nessa -- Thanks for commenting and your nice words. The backdrop of snow was dirty so I thought I would spice up the picture a bit.
I forgot to cut-back this rose bush last year and I do not think it will come back in the Spring. My bad.
