Amy, I know of a spot close to you that you might be able to use for a shot where the water will appear softer. It is usually well shaded and not far off the road. Tell Paul its up but Late Lotawanna on the west side of the road on 7 hwy. You can see it from the road. Only problem is you have to wait until it rains again, like that is gonna happen in the near future, lol! I have to go some time soon to take some pix of the bears in KC for my wife before school tarts up again. She is gonna use the bear themes in her Art Classes. If this sounds like something you and your parents would like to do, have Paul let me know and maybe we can make a day of it. Keep up the good work,
Thanks guys (again)for all your help. There is alot to learn about this stuff!! I can't go to this, but I will try some other water shots and work with my shutter. :0}
Very pretty location :) Could you visit this again? I'd love to see an angle with the water comming at me. Play with you shutter speeds as well. If you slow it down a bit your shot will have a calming effect, the water will look softer. Try a couple different ways and see which you like.
