Poor Willie is really a ferall Cat.... born wild- and abandoned.... but he is sooo smart and such a hunter for Us...
Seems like every other morning he comes in and has most all missing whiskers-Lol !!! They grow fast , but he looses them really fast too...

Very good composition Michele,nice head shot.
The 'whites' are blown out but with your software
problem I understand why you cannot fix it.

Hi Michele!! Great story!!!
Love it. The point of focus as stated
is a bit off and just alittle washed
out in your highlight but still a nice
capture of Willy just the same and composed
Very good! I too find I have a hard time shooting
my black and white on sunny days.....If you keep him out of the direct sun in the shade you won't have any troubles........I like the shot for its composition and close up tight crop!

She is lovely but personaly I love more the dog...lol...not only as animal but also as photo. hehe...white area, very difficult when the sunligh hit it, always shining a lot and overexposed...anyway, pretty good job my friend.

Michele -- By crisper in this case it is where the point of focus is. Look at the hair/fur to the right of Willie and you can see that is dead sharp. But the fur on the nose and face is somewhat blurry. Looks like the place where the ideal focus rests is not on the face.

Thank YOU Jan- a bit crisper ... would this be like sharper, or better clarity ? Honestly my pc monitor (etc.) is giving me some troubles lately so I ask in all sincerity as I am on the last legs of this poor tired Dell....
Yep- the Amazing World of Animals- I have seen Bella just soo jealous that she has chased Willie and then of course we have to break it up cause Bella could get blinded sooo easily :((

Good and intimate portrait of Willie. Could be just a bit crisper to my liking though. It always amazes me how cats sometimes take control of much larger dogs and seem to become the dominant one in the pairing. Of course a lot depends on the temperament of the dog. No doubt if Bella was sufficiently irritated, ........... :) :)
