Even from the thumbnail view, I liked the image. A very moving image indeed. I should say that it really makes me sad but since you say that it has what you call to be a 'pretty easy life', I think even the happiest amongst us have some 'sadness' inside us! I am unable to write all the feelings that I have seeing this image of yours AJ but one thing I can say that this is a very thoughtful image. Very well done...

And yet, John, as far as I know it is a happy horse. It is part of a group that spends most of the time in the protected natural park that that runs along the beach and they have a pretty easy life (and a nice view!)

It's a good shot and yes, somehow the horse's eye gives the idea of sad fealling... not only because it is weat but also because it watching down, beautiful shot AJ, very well seen image.
