It looks exactly as dark, depressing, full of gothic atmosphere as my own opinion about the whole industry of religion, Ian. A vague impression of something "more powerful" that never existed and for which the only reason to pray to is fear! I find the undefinable touch that you gave to this image a very good analogy to the twisted cloud of "arguments" that the clerical try to convince us with, about heaven and hell and all the other stories for kids. At the end there is nothing more left of us, than the dust which soon will be washed away by the rain of some next generation.
But I also find the image beautiful in its own way. It simply shows the atmosphere that *is* and not what we like to see. Really courageous to follow this way, especially when the majority of "photographers" seems to see nothing more than the usual colorful flowers.
Any continuation of this series planned?
