So it would go pretty much into weaving with light, I guess, Ian! What if light itself could be the main producer of not only form but also texture on the surfaces of the form?
Cheers,
Nick

Oops sorry now I get you, a close up of the hill beyond. The shadowy flax (I think) and the ones in light. There's some depth to that.

Weaving! Of course! I'm enjoying bits of each image but they aren't really about form but light. They'd lose nothing but gain form.

Some kind of unexplainable sense for light and shape of the familiar turned into something uncomprehensible - and you seem to get more and more experience on that, Ian!
Here I find the textures right under the dark of the top very interesting. Any chance to try one with more of that textures?
Cheers,
Nick

Cheers Rog. It's getting there. No the train didn't come! It's a car on the road above the tracks which I've cropped out. A train would've lit up the toe toe nicely. I think I've found a good spot though. The hill at the back has some background intetrest. Still waiting for the main event.

is this the train again... I love it irrespective of whether it is or not.. As usual highly conceptual and evocative and enigmatic at the same time
