Yes, the details are not crispy, and they should really be crispy here, Visar! So I'll really have to retry that if I ever find that balcony again.

Still, even with more details the design would be... well, half! Or how else can I put into words? Something essential seems to be missing here apart from details.

But thanks a lot for the nice and detailed comment that set an orientation point for some eventual next try!

Hey Nick, I see this one and i see what it imposed in you! I would certainly have a similar effect on me! I loved these balconies, so typical for Italia, pretty much most of its cities.

however, i have to agree with Linda suggesting a smaller aparture, as you were not the most succesful in getting details of leaves on the wall flower, otherwise the focus is fine.

all the best,
v.

Yes, much likely!!! ;-)

Hopefully I didn't manipulated his work visual-genetically!! ;-)

Cheers!

And also with all its troubles, I guess, Dave. Still wonder if this was a good approach.

Thanks a lot for the nice comment!

And I thank you for your comments, Vandi!

But this one has many drawbacks too, doesn't it?

Cheers!

Again "Stupendo ++++++++" Alida? I must be a master of photography already! ;-)

Seriously now, it has problems and I am only glad that at least Linda pointed out one of them: Focus!

Cheers!

Exactly this kind of not being sure is what puzzles me so often, Linda!

Focus seems to be indeed a problem here. One of the problems, that is. But the darn thing would still be quite "unfinished" even with more focus. I'll have to make some more tries and see what could be changed for a better composition under a better focus.

Thank you very much for the suggestion!

Schedule successfully rescheduled, Gustavo! ;-)

Actually I don't have any schedule. I just post when I have the time to.

Thanks a lot for the nice comment!

Stupendo questo balcone, molto dettagliata la fotografia, e sicuramente niente facile da comporre, un gran bel scatto!Complimenti!+++++++

I agree that these are attractive views showing sometimes the tenacity of life. A hard one to compose, I think you did pretty good...not sure how I'd go about capturing this one Nick. It seems like it needs a bit more focus? I'd probably have used a smaller aperature for this one, hard to say without being there. Definitely a difficult one to compose!! :))
