Hello dear Paul ... I agree I don't need to go to sea to watch whales ... I can see themn from the land and rather stay here where it is nice and warm :)
But I guess in tourism there are always some who never get this opportunity (?)

Nice peaceful place with a lot of details and colors to observe. Good composition of terraces, bridges, houses. All such properly positioned around a waiting boat.
Why still watching whales at sea if it is such nice to stay here and enjoy all this ?

Thank You for the wonderful compliment dear arif - Oregon is one of THE most beautiful places I've seen but guess why it's so green :(
It is also one of the rainiest places - not so cold , mild weather like generally mid 50's yr. round just not this year - it's the dampness that gets you cold ....
For photography I think I am very lucky to have beautiful rivers, lakes, beaches, mountains - all within a couple miles as well ... I am just glad I am not boring you !

Thank You for your comment Paul - I almost took a picture of the sign that says 'SMALLEST WORKING HARBOR IN THE WORLD' but forgot - I'll get it another time ... everything around the coast here is the smallest this or that - capital of the world -lol!!! ohhhhhhh but the Kites are the 'Kite Flying Capital ' - I don't know maybe they just say it and no one challenges it -ha!!

Thank You for the kind and generous comment dear Nicki - I have not gone out to sea in this wild ocean - it is really cold - so here in Oregon I whale watch from the coast and that is fun too :)) I did go out in Maui - where it's nice and warm :)
I have a friend comming today ... but not here yet - and the weather is very nice so we are lucky for that !!!

Whale watching is just amazing!!I did it one time and I was so impressed by these BIG animals!!Very nice view with amazing colors and it looks very inviting my dear Michele!!I will remember me ALL this my dear...I hope that we will see everything my dear..LOL!!
