And that makes it so impossible to decide, Iguess too, Andre.

Hi Nick, It's one of those kind of subjects that seems right almost anywhere in the frame. Andre

Thanks a lot for the additional crop, Andre! Thoigh it seems to be so simple it gets harder when actually dealing with it. But your crop seems to go go in the direction of a light that covers a bigger part of the image, and less centered too. Can we carry it even further? (Attachment.)
Such "simple" images can really prove to be small nuisances.

Hi Nick, Yeah, I think I like your original better than the attached. Maybe like this attached one? Still not much difference really. Andre

Thanks a lot for the very good idea, Andre! Trying to do that (artificially) I can see exactly what you mean with "smaller in a sea of black". (Attachment? - I am reluctant to follow the rule of thirds on that.) I think I must try some more of it.
Cheers!

Hi Nick, The elements of this image lend them self to many different compositions that I bet would all work. The main subject could be larger in the image, or smaller and over to one side. Either way would be effective. Smaller in a sea of black would give a very real sense of isolation for the shadowy man behind the bars. It is also quite effective just the way it is. Andre

Thanks a lot for the nice detailed comment, Marcio!
You gave me an idea with the words "The final escape". Lemme see how I could get it!
Cheers!

The final escape... The image appears floating by darkness....and leads the eye directly into the light.
