I like this one the best of the 3 (I do like them all as I studied them over and over, but was ultimately drawn to this one). Color is not needed to bring out its beauty, it would distract. There are so many wonderful areas that draw you in and the soft parts are just as interesting as the sharp ones. Fascinating and creative vision you have, being able to take a color pic and creating a b/w that, I believe, is more interesting than the original.

I really like the angle you took of the flower. It's center petals are very sexy. It's a shame that the highlights are clipped, I know how hard it is to get all the tones in a photo like this, so that really doesn't bother me. I personally don't care for the "edge", I think it would look classier with a clean edge.

There is just something so special about a BW floral done well, and you have done this beautifully, Michaelle. It becomes about magic and mystery and form and texture and atmosphere, and this one has them all... Your rendering technique perfectly matching your vision. And that framing is a great touch, to boot... Outstanding work!

Such drama Mickey! I can't really find anything wrong with this one. This belongs on a book or the opening of a movie. The border was a nice touch.
