I tend to carry ether the Fuji or a little Rollei 35 wherever I go in case I see something worth snapping but can't hump a lowepro stealth reporter around all day! This is part of a vine in my parents garden on which the bark has started to shred and peel like paper. The shot was taken mid afternoon with a high sun on a clear day. I keep meaning to go back and get it with the 10D but I'm actually really pleased with above image. By the way, if anyone wants to buy a Fuji because its got a six meg res forget it! The interpolation makes the image twice the size and half as sharp. It works fine for most things on 3.1MP.
hi, this would make a really good texture for layering i think, looks animal like from the thumbnail! nice shadows! reminds me of part of jacks beanstalk! thanks for my comment btw, and i have replyed.
Thanks for the informations abot Fuji! I find this shot very interessing, sharp and precise. It seems almost you could stop the time, before shreding and peeling.
