P.S. Pity the preacher didn't mention the fact that Christ descended into hell so that we wouldn't have to! He said that He hadn't come to judge the world, but to save it. We do, however, need to trust Him in order to benefit from His sacrifice! Sorry to go on, but I'm a preacher too!
