What can I say, but WOW!!! I love barns, too. My husband is from NW Iowa so I have probably photographed this barn before sometime! I think I would have cloned out the wire on the upper left. Thanks for commenting on my Baby Montage photo.

I ride around the country looking for barns to photograph all the time. You found a great one. Congrats.

I love these buildings, they are one of the american symbols for me, it?s a pity if this tradition is forgotten. The shot is very sharp and well framed, also I am surprised by the pepsi machine, very funny and useful too! You could remove the antiaesthetic electric cables and maybe increase a little the colours saturation or the contrast, in any case it?s a very nice pic. Bye Max

Yes, this is a nice capture! I love the simplicity of the picture. I agree that the wire at top should be cloned, but all else looks great to me.

This old barn has a commiserating effect on me. I wonder what it may have looked like years ago. It appears there may have been a roofed shelter or addition on the right side. Very good photo. I bet it was taken early afternoon. I liked your fireman scene also.

Absolutely great photo from the technical view! Why! Because of the colours and the details. Especialy the green at the ground looks very nice! Ok...perchaps the cables can be deleted using the clone tool of PS but this is not big deal. Best regards, JH.

Hey, I love this, I think a few things would help it out I gave you 6,6,7,7,7 now I think if you moved the barn a little to the right, and show more of the left it would give a better feel for the composition, and if you upped the saturation and maybe contrast it would give alot more impact, I really liked this though...

The classic red barn, done well. The wire hanging down upper left is a distraction and could be easily cloned out (if you have the software).

I used to live in Cedar Rapids... and no, they haven't, and aren't going to re-extend the pier here in DB. ;-)

Nice colors with good clarity & composition. Thanks for your comments on my "cool turtle" photo. I was about 3 to 5 feet away from the turtle when I took that shot.

I also like barns and will be posting some soon.I noticed the pepsi machine also, and it looks as if that tractor could push the whole thing down any minute. Nice rural scene.

Kelly, I love this capture, especially the year at the top of the barn. Good color, contrast, and clarity. Well done. Regards.
