Taken at Edmonds shore in Washington. Experimenting a bit more with the ID 3200 film and different exposure settings. Can't find my little notebook I logged my settings in from this day. Will post shutter and aperture once I do find it.
Thank you very much for the comments. I also like the overall moodiness(sp?) of the picture and the composition. I am having so much fun seeing the limits of what this film can do - or better to say, the limits of what I can do with this film.
The grain came out heavier than I had expected, but not as bad as this scan makes it look (sharpening 'cause of the scan really pulled the intensity of the grain up). I can't wait until I can get a film scanner.
Donald, this is nicely composed, nice straight horizon, wave adds fg interest, and I like the use of bw. I can see that you used 3200 film and that must be the reason for the extreme graininess, to me its too much grain, you can actually see little artifacts in the image, particularly on the right side...
I stood back from the monitor, and this looked great. I think grain looks better from a distance. Nice composition, and the dark moody feeling really works.
