Snyggt Stefan. Har sysslat en del med lång sutartid/rörelseoskärpa en del själv. Kanske laddar upp någon gång. /Jeanette

Was it here all the time??? I didn't see it after 2 or 3 searches! heheheh! This is beautiful! It brings a sensation of comfort and warmness... It's on my favourites a long time ago... I love it!

I love the attachment as well! Both are unique and have a deep, mysterious quality to them. I'll have to play with hand holding and trying this. Cheers

Kim - yes this was handheld. The camera was in motion as I pressed the shutter to make it as smooth as I could. Why the swirls - no idea. Maybe I'm not that steady after all :-) I've tried sliding it down on a tripod as well but I never managed to get to work very well. Attached is a version of these trees where I probably had a more direct sweep. In both cases the camera was translated, not rotated.

Was this handheld? I'm curious about the twirls and swirls... I would think if a tripod was used they would have more structure? Something else to try!

Wonderful abstract, Stefan! I love the fluidity of the motion, especially given the coarseness of the subject you describe, and there's a great 'braided' quality to the lines! Thanks for your comments on my sunset pic - I had not seen it until you mentioned it, but will now always see the bird in the clouds! :)

Gorgeous texture in here... the light playing on the trunks, surrounded by darkness is excellent. I have started to play with movement quite a bit... hoping to get a abstract series going... perhaps I was subliminally prodded by your great work! I did some brich tree trunks in bright light... hopefully I'll get a print made soon to upload! This would look amazing on a wall... but, then again, everything of yours would look amazing on a wall! All the best!

Simply the best! Man, you are a painter! Your brush is your imagination and light is your ink(?)! I hope the editor is awake! Someday this will be the photo of the day!!!!

Very coarse fiber, indeed. Big time cellulose fibers, allright!(LOL) Makes me fall inside and I keep looking at it. Beautiful work, Stefan.

movement and flow - like curtains falling front of your face during a dream - you seem caught between a clinical approach and a romantic approach - guess which one I like...

This looks pretty amazing, like something out of a dream. Or a drunken stupor. But either way it works for me. Nice choice with the title as well. It's like I could touch the screen and feel the texture. Nice shot.
