Well whoever you are this is a very decent capture with the tree line going well against the sky. The saturation os nicely handled with strong red color that's not an exaggeration. possibly a bit soft in spots.Probably f 8 would broaden the DOF. also posting a bit larger would enable a better look at detail.

The top left hand corner is indeed the only bit of blue that was really in the sky at that point.. it made for a reality check on what I was actually seeing..the red simply exploded.
As per the rating.. well the way I see it, if I remark on someone's picture and it is less then what they wish to hear; then they slam what I post as a means of getting back I suppose.
As this is now a karma point system I am bewildered why the ratings are what they are.Some I simply do not understand.
Photography is an art form but it is a pure form of a lens capture.. when manipulation is added or other worldly things that were not in the frame when captured; then it becomes art... that is very subjective in my mind.
Having said that I thank both of you for your feedback and want you both to know that Lee is my husband and I snuck in on his name to post my shot.. the comments are mine not his and the photos for the most part are mine not his.He is a much better photographer then I but I am on a huge learning curve!!

I agree with Deb. Sometimes I'd like to see the ratings done away with....a 3?? The only thing that hurts this image is that top left corner. Looks like a mistake....is that the sky?? Otherwise very nice!

Lee, I don't know who's out there voting, but this is way better than the vote shows. The colors are lovely; it seems a little soft to me though. You might want to increase the dof and go with a slightly slower shutter speed. :)
