Suspension???? You mean this guy was suspended in the air on the hooks? There's your true decisive moment if you could catch his face the moment he began to lift off the ground. Reminds me of the squeamish feeling I got when I was younger reading about a Native American tribe that had a ritual of piercing warriors' pectorals with bear claws and then tying them to bent over willow tree, after which they let the tree go. A very intense and painful photo.

Kim: Yes, I have a couple of closer shots, which I'll post soon.
Lori: It was very difficult to get the shots of the actual piercings being done - there were piercers surrounding him and I couldn't get in very close. I agree that it would have been a good "decisive moment".
Dave: Thank you!
Daniel: "Gross dude" isn't exactly a constructive comment.

I agree, I think a picture of the first hook actually being inserted would be a great "decisive moment" shot, too. This picture almost makes me feel the adrenaline rush this guy must be having. Thanks for posting!

OUCH! Why would anyone want to do this??? It's making me cringe just looking at this image. But on a purely photographic issue... did you take any close up shots showing the actual points of entry for the hooks? I find this almost too far away to make me really want to run away! (5)
