Thank you for your kind comments, Joao. The light in Jamaica is beautiful. I exaggerated it just a bit.

Thanks, Roby. She is a loan vendor, more to come later in the morning but I prefer the light early and at the very end of the day. An intense sky without working at it too much. Thanks again, my friend.

Excellent composition ... fantastic sky/water! Thanks for your comment Leora - you have extreme weather conditions in Florida with all those hurricanes coming in, one after another! Thanks for your comment ... the fiord in the picture is part of the Ice Sea - quite in the north! :)

Dear Leora,
344 views and just 12 comments? amazing and stupid. I really like the way you worked with the horizontal format here. the image has a widescreen look even if it's 4:3. the horizon and the shoreline merges wonderfully in the right back. the colors itself add a lot to the image. two minor things: The woman looks a bit "compressed" in height.guess that's from the lens? and I see some vignetting, especially on the left side. very good one anyway. take care, thilo

Jose, I think you should know this. I appreciate your warm comment. And I was enjoying looking at your portfolio, but I was repeatedly interrupted by a link to a search site and could not go back to Usefilm. It happened when I clicked on a lovely shot of children, which never came up, and when I clicked on your second page which never came up. When I tried the children for a second time - the same thing.
I am sure this is not your fault, and it may have something to do with cookies on my computer. But, if I were you, I would look into it. Has this happened to you? Thanks, Leora.

Bravo, Stefan. You nailed it. I hate to admit it, but I have been struggling today with other PS tools to clean it up and get rid of the cyan cast and the dark corners. I was actually hoping you would pitch in and you read my mind. Thanks.
Hope you get that trip to Jamiaca and take along a wide angle lens as a companion. Here's an idea - rent a 20mm or even 18mm rectalinear lens to see what works for you. I used to swear by the 28mm and now prefer the 18mm. Until I go digital, that is. Cheers, Leora.

I fiddled a bit with the white point, seems maybe not enough but sand a clouds are a little whiter. I want a wide lens like that too - plus the trip to Jamaica of course...

Thanks to all for your welcome comments.
Stefan, you have a good point. On a closer look I believe what you are seeing is some vignetting from the use of the 20mm lens, a common problem I have - possibly because of the lens shade. The sand in the right side is getting muddy because of it. I see there is more work to be done. Thanks for your insight.
Regards to all, Leora.

If lines ever led me into an image, this be it. There are great shades of blue in the sky and in the ocean, but on my monitor there is a blue cast to the sand as well that does not look quite right.
