We should really be doing this over email. Too bad they don't have a feature to selectively make your email address visible. First you should know that I "cheated" in that picture. It's pushed to ISO 1600 which is why it's so noisy. I'm in my photo discovery phase and learning something new every time I push that release button. My method involves trying the same composition many different ways. Most of the time, at least one attempt will work. In any case, with all that in mind, how would have I exposed this? Spot meter on the shadows under the doorway and push down 1-2EV. Maybe even push to ISO 400. You could also use an ND filter and make the exposure longer but the kid would probably move. It might even be as simple as trying it with a polarizer.

the child definitely makes this pic. it's a bit overexposed, tho. i really pictures of mosques, esp. the interiors but we don't get to see too many. is it not allowed? just curious.
btw, thanks for great comment you left me. very educational and constructive. exactly what i was looking for.

Bedankt voor je comment op me sneeuwklokjes, ik denk inderdaad dat jou versie, de ietsjes lichtere er misschien beter uit ziet. Bij mijne hangt er een soort grijze waas over, goed idee voor de volgende om aan te werken!
Dit is heel mooi gebouw gefotografeert vanuit een verassende hoek. Ik vraag me af waarom het jongetje ze fiets juist daar heeft geparkeerd. Het zonlicht doet fantastische dingen met de kleine boogjes in de koepel. Heel heel mooi effect! Sinds ik zelf met de frames bezig ben kijk ik er aandachtig naar bij andere! Deze ziet er mooi uit, wat iedereen al zegt kleuren vanuit de foto gebruiken, dit heb jij denk ik ook gedaan. Bij deze foto is een passende frame lastig te vinden denk ik, aan de bovenkant heb je zoveel blauw wit blauw wit met ook nog bruin ertussen door dat bijna elke frame daar gaat afstoten. Ook bij jou denk ik dat het frame daar een grotere rol opeist dan de foto, omdat het er zo hard tegenover staan. Maar overall nog steeds een perfecte foto!

Great plays of shapes and architectural perspective (the small gate inside the big gate).
Polichoramtism colors against the black dressed boy and in the opposite angle a slice of black shadow....
In breif: a great shot very well composed with a title so evocative which give more strong visual impact.
Yes Duality works very well in considering the couple between F100 and NPH 400 Too.!!!
