Second, this photograph is just so wonderful! The tones, textures and composition are all terrific. It is so simple yet so elegant. Really nice.
Isn't usefilm a great place. I love the fact that you can get a comment from someone who's work you've never seen, check out their portfolio and get pumped to go out and shoot.

A lesson well learned! This is highly original. I love the different textures, and B&W was a good choice. I'm not a fan of flash, but it seems to have worked quite well here, even adding a three-dimensional feel to the legs on the left. Great legs, too... [grin] Oh, wait a minute! I thought you meant you learned how to frame/crop a subject. The border around the picture I could do without... never use 'em myself.
