Hi Jon, A very good action shot; took this one at the exactly proper "decisive moment". Extremely powerful bird. My compliments on this shot, definately very well done.

Going on, and I hope you don't take this as critisism, because it is definately not meant that way, because I couldn't have captured this shot any better than you did (let alone being there at the right time). There's a difference between the *true* nature photographers and the other photographers (people like us).... I for one would not have the patience to wait out (don't mind waking up or being out there in the field) for the exact right timing to capture an impressive creature like this redtail in its natural habitat. That's why I would never be able to produce a National Geographic type of wildlife shot.... I'm sure you know where I'm getting at. The thing I haven't figured out yet, is should we stretch ourselves or just be content with other areas.....

Jon, this is just a contemplation typed out; Considering the circumstances, I do like this shot; but it's no Nat Geo....
