Mandy, a very colorful action shot. The glee on the little one's face says it all and proves that "a picture is worth a 1000 words." Good work. Jimmy Thanks for your comments on my rose and curious swan photos. About the Minolta Dimage digitals - I guess as far as digitals go they are o.k. but there are better digitals out there for not much more money and some even less. If your serious about going into digital, check out this site. http://www.steves-digicams.com/default.htm They have reviews of all digital cameras. I have two Pentax 35mm slr film cameras, the fully automatic and full featured *ist and their ZX-M, a mostly manual camera. For film my preference is Kodak Ektachrome 100 transparency films and for color negatives it's Kodak Gold 100, followed by Fujifilms of the same speed. If you are doing portraits and weddings you shouldn't be using those high speed films you list on your post. The grain of those films would prevent you from getting decent enlargements. Check out Kodak's web site and go to their Pro Lab link to read about their films. If you live in a small town as I do you'll have to order these films over the internet. I use http://www.bhphotovideo.com/ to order my film. For lighting, I prefer natural light but use the on camera flash when necessary. Hope this answered your questions.
