Today is my last working day in South Korea, after 14 months working here as an ESL Teacher in the southern port of Busan I am at last nearly on my way. The reason for comming here was to work and save for my kind of pilgrimage I will be making - a cultural pilgrimage from the Pacific Rim to the Atlantic - across Asia and then Europe on foot from Turkey to Spain. Tomorrow I take the train to Seoul and ferry to China and if the Mongolian Embassy can get off their, or should it be on, their asses, I will transit their country and travel across Russia en-route to the Republic of Georgia...Its been a great journey with Usefilm the past 4 months and I'm sure I will be back some time in the not to distant future. But in the mean time I've got itchy feet like the ancient pilgrim above.
