This is only about 3 miles from my house. i stop at a local coffee house to get my "fix". This light is visible from the coffee shop parking lot. thats how i can get there at this hour.

Nicely done, Jim. I have a soft spot for lighthouses and pier lights, with special respect for anyone who gets up before dawn to photograph them!
In this case, there are so many things that make this special. The warm light, the leading lines, the glow of the red pier light itself, and of course, the highlight accentuating the left edge of the tower.
It's funny how the lines of perspective fool the eye; I was going to comment (before I read your comment) that it seemed to be leaning to the right. :-)

Hello Jim,
Excellent shot!!! Love the highlights on the light house and light poles. The reflection of the light house really makes the shot. Jim, this is a superb example of using light to your advantage. Very dramatic shot, well done.
