Thanks very much for the visit and the comment, Jim!
I've had a look in your portfolio and am very impressed. I've made a note to comment on it when I have more time. Seeing the quality of your work makes me even more flattered by your comment.
Thanks, Angelo.

i agree about it being "well seen". this is what separates you from someone that takes "snap shots". I can just imagine the looks you received when you took this.

Caro Jorge,
Precisa vir visitar. Isso tudo e muito mais se acha no meu supermercado local a preços razoáveis para o país.
Lógico, quem quiser, pode continuar comendo "baked beans and chips" mas é por escolha e não por falta de opção.
Sabes qual o "prato nacional" do Reino Unido? "Curry", e não estou de sacanagem. Fish&Chips?

Jorge, what are you talking about??? Of course you can get great food in the UK!!!
You can get Indian Basmati rice and spices, French cheese, Italian pasta, Portuguese sardines, Spanish olives, Greek fetta, Brazilian hearts of palm, Argentinian beef, New Zealand lamb, Caribean bananas, African plaintain, manioc, okra ... etc.
:)

Great food? In UK? Not possible ! Well, we look at england from diferent points of view.I had a model, you live there. It was my Meca,it is your daily job.You are another one living there,I was aiming at the original product. The signs? If they did not allow irish, dogs and blacks- funny mix- nobody could be in, or almost. You, could, barely. Are you very, very white, get red with the sun,eat chips and fish, drink beer and cheers Diana,Queen,Arsenal, have a dog, you?re alowed. I finf, now , in Brasil another new type: pardos ! Don?t believe !!!

Dear Jorge,
If you mean "non-white", I think only the two people on the right fall into that category. On the left, from memory, are two white ladies and a white gentleman. Perhaps they are from the "Dominions" of Australia or South Africa, though how one can tell from the sandals, I do not know. I am not an expert on sandals yet, I just find them interesting :)
You are right. London (England, for that matter) is no longer the same. Signs that read "No dogs. No Irish. No blacks.", so common in the 60s and 70s (I'm told), are no longer acceptable.
Thank goodness for that!
Unfortunately, the attitude behind those old signs lives on in some quarters.
The London I've known is much better off for having so many immigrants. It is much more cosmopolitan, vibrant, colourful, and there's some great food, too! I love it!

From that line up of shoes, how many comr?e from the "Dominions" ? 50% ? 65% ? Now all are brits, but London no more is the same. No, Angelo,I?m not discussing the wright or wrong of the free British Passport, only London is no more the same.A fact, not a theory.Well in evidence in your tube pics. Regards jorge

Thank you, Svend!
This is exactly what I am trying to do, create a series. You have no idea how happy I am when someone notices and comments on the "series" aspect of these photos!
However, the "feet" series has come to an end, this was the last one (for a while, anyway). I will shortly be a alighting from the train... Thanks for travelling with me.

Dear A.T.,
Polarising filters are not really a practical option on a moving train because of the light loss and all the shaking that is going on.
In any case, I like the reflected light, as I am trying to capture the look and feel of the inside of a train carriage, and this is what it looks like.
Thanks for your visit! Angelo.

Better and better and better. Your tube photos are a natural series and there's a rhythm to this series. The sound of an underground train in motion, perhaps? Ka-chum, ka-chum. Mind the gap. Rgds, Svend

I like the reflection, it's as if the feet are floating, something I still find weird about a man in sandals and a suit but everything comes around eventually. Something else odd here is that the rest of the clothing looks so heavy! This series is superb, sorry about the paucity of my comments, been difficult of late and thanks so much for yours. Ian

Absolutamente brilhante.
