Congratulation Heath for the baby :) Of course having a baby is the priority :) But you don't' want to miss all the fun capturing the baby's pictures with DSLR :) You can go for the Canon 350D :) It is very nice, and if you can afford extra debts on the credit card :) 20D would be more than wonderful :)
Congratulation once again,

Thanks for the tip Ameed, I took that picture using window light late in the day(and this was before I picked up a 50mm f 1.4 which may have let me use a slightly faster shutter speed). My dilema is that I shoot mostly film but I don't have a good film scanner (just a cheaper Canon flatbed) so what I post looks quite different than the print/negative. I'd love get a DSLR and/or a good film scanner but alas I have a eight month old baby girl so I guess it'll have to wait for a while as babies are quite expensive :) I need to win the lottery, LOL

Marmalade Cat, that's a cool description of her color! the vet calls her a TortoiseShell Cat. Scooby was a stray that came with the new house we bought a couple of years ago :) we took her in and fattened her up and she's been a great cat ever since.
