nice shot - does the unavoidable noise annoy you though?

Hey Craig Yeah i sharpened it in PS and also adjusted the curves thing to bring back some of the colours i lost from scanning. This is how they appear on the print, but the bark on the tree has a blue tinge to it that i didnt know how to get rid of, so yeah :)

Hi Bryce; This is very well done w/ nice composition and technically excellent. I don't know if you do much w/ PS editing or not but if so, I do think this would be even more effective if it were darker, ie in keeping with a "night sky"? I wouldn't want to totally lose detail in the tree and rocks though.
Thanks for your vote on my B&W seascape. I've done a lot of them and it still amazes me how good seascapes often look in B&W-- must be the monochromatic nature of them? Cheers. Craig

I like the balance between the brightness of the image and what you wanted to show us - the sky is not to bright so we can still can see lovely star trails and the foreground is not too dark so there are still some visible details; well done; lovely colors as well regards Lukasz
