Ahhh, I knew it just had to be a Cicada. I used to play with them and their discarded skins when I was a child. You have captured these unusual beasts, if I may call them that, exceptionally well. The gold glittering across the wings has come up beautifully, whilst the fibres of the cloth on which the cicada lays helps enhance the overall effect. The only negativity I can find to this image is the DOF having an affect on the back half of the insect. This detracts from making this image an A+. All the same, I really like your image. Judi
