Thanks as always Dina for looking and commenting. I've just bought an Eos 1n which was Canons top film camera a couple of years ago. I took the girls out to an old castle ruins called Castell Y Bere and trying out my first roll of Ilford Delta. I've only used Neopan Acros in the past but a recent poll give Delta the perfect score so will have to wait till i get them developed :)

Thank you for the comment Abel. Wow thats a big question on what camera. I think it depends on the price you want to spend really. Out of allmy prosumer cameras I really liked the sony dsc s70 and F717. They were excellent especially with Carl Zeiss lens. The price of cameras such as the 300D are really dropping in price which means a cheap backup film camera is definately an option. On ebay at the moment, the Elan II (Eos 50) are selling around £60. There are also a lot of good 8mp prosumer cameras on the market and I like the look of the Canon Pro1. I think it all depends on what your ultimate goal is. The DSLR's focusing is instant so for sports and action they are a must. For portrait and landscapes the prosumer cameras are excellent. If your happy with the ixus which I believe is Canon, stick with Canon. The reason being that even though they have more mp's, the layouts are usually very similar :)
Hope this helps
