About It is raining outside, I was telling Karen ?it never rains??I am in the mood to show you this photo and post this extract of my Paradox Ethereal manifesto again, it used to be my welcoming note for some days when I first became a usefilm member? Again then, but this time devoted to all of you?Maybe the rain?.

The observing approach of a movement and its conveyed impression can both comprise a source of further inspiration. Only then can self- observation and purposeless pursuit alternate, only then may the utilization of one's eyes of the soul have an inverse proportion with the tendency to ?alternate? with others, but never ?mingle?.
Are we stripped bodies following parallel routes, are we any man confronted with the revelation of nature, our very own nature?or are we images dancing in the wind after having been worn to a shadow by ecstasy to such a degree that we have been transformed into a single archetypal figure that celebrates Creation? Time provides us with an answer, it eliminates everything in an unconceivable way, though its movement is perceived nostalgically, forbiddingly and linearly. And then we are metamorphosed. The three age brackets alternate? you wonder? what a primrose path it is to judge others or hide yourself, and how hard and difficult it is to learn how to cross an isolated street all by yourself being aware that none is watching you?

Yes Baha I agree with you, it is better to die because of a dancing-into-ecstasy situation than to die because of drugs!! It costs less anyway! That was a joke of course,as I believe a joke is also your friends' suggestion to over-intoxicate yourself!
"Just say No" LOL

Friends always ask me where i want to go by over-
intoxication. I'll show them this photo the next time and tell them, see that void
guided to a greater void of tranquility sprinkled with the enjoyment of rhythm ?That's where i'm desperately trying to go,and then they would understand. What a relief!
Thanks.
Baha.

Sure we will meet I prepare a new event, a tribut to Angels, of all kinds! You can participate if you have photos of Angels (statues), the photos will be shown in video projection and there will be accompanying music etc, a typical Paradox Ethereal event. I will send you an infotation and info. The date has not been set yet, as i still did not get all submissions.
Thanx!

I knew that this photo was yours, before I saw your name.

I wish I could take her from her waste and dance together.

I hope to get to see U in Athens during the winter!

Une gitane qui danse dans la nuit ou dans la pénombre d'une chambre et pour nous montrer qu'elle bouge vous faites aussi danser des notes qui sont comme des papillons qui l'éclairent et lui donnent envie de ne pas s'arrêter.

what if i commented taking absolutely no account of both your notes and the others' words,as well?
i might then say this for me is an image about Tender Excitements and Intimate Fears.
and i like it ;-)

Music from the soul can be so beautiful once it is allowed to roam free. Dancing notes appear like wings, as the fairy twirls about in utter bliss. So wonderfully different and abstract, unlike anything I have ever seen-an original piece~

Mary,
love this image! and what you said below
"We feel close to images that depict things we have discovered inside of us, and we feel strangers to the unknown." & "I believe one needs to exercise all types of photos to find what touches his/her soul! "
Wonderful insight, and yes, very true. :)

It seems to be an interesting metaphysic thought you have written. I can?t follow you exactly because my English is too bad when we are talking about metaphysics.
However, I like this picture and I?m thinking about ?to exist behind the noise?. And converted to a more social realistic point of view it?s to be individual behind the collective. It doesn?t matter how much you dance if you don?t dance with other. The eyes will always search for clear patters while you?re fading away in your modest dance.

/Marcus

Images can be like apparitions knocking on doors, some doors can just not open as they have limited themselves only to certain type of knocking?Democracy? You can try A Kyrlian photography to see ectoplasmatic forms of life, I can give you an address? We feel close to images that depict things we have discovered inside of us, and we feel strangers to the unknown. This is familiarity all about! There will be a time when someone is ready to understand and accept that which does not belong to his own realm. I have to repeat? ?what a primrose path it is to judge others or hide yourself, and how hard and difficult it is to learn how to cross an isolated street all by yourself being aware that none is watching you?? Some lending of technical photographic knowledge is much better than an understatement, because knowledge helps. Semantics claim that one?s words show how one feels for oneself!!! One of these rainy days, revise your comments! You will see a lot! Excuse my English but Greeklish makes me feel uncomfortable with! Mr Antoniadis claims that the ?Degree of Depiction? is greater when an image is lucid and follows the codes our eyes are used to recognize -as we are identified with these codes- and lower when a photo needs interpretation. Nevertheless both approaches are officially acceptable as long as the photographer has the intention to show a particular thing. B&W Bresson type photographers tend to believe that abstracts and experimentation is a matter of chance, as you repeatedly say, believe me it is not?.I am perfectly aware of what I need to depict, even if it is my thoughts!! It is unbelievable how much all these types of photographers insist on this and are totally against experimentation! I believe one needs to exercise all types of photos to find what touches his/her soul! Bye!!
Thanx for your kind words!!!

Wonderful abstract, Mary. I'm surprised you've done it in B&W. Rain, time, primrose path, wind, and celebration of Creation all suggest the colors of the rainbow or at least one of them. Just kidding, of course. :) It's always enjoyable to go through your porfolio.
