Thankyiou dear Zeev. I am pleased this one has being as popular as it has. Sometimes I am unsure what people really enjoy seeing. So I just put a lot of variety out there.

This is really cool how you created sort of leak in the dam sort of thing, and water (memories) are like swirlng away...it actually does make you feel that way.......thanks Judi.

I don't like the idea of drifting.

Thankyou so much Florin. I try and give a wide range of topics in my images to keep everyone happy. I have had this image a while and just kept forgetting to submit it. Eventually I get there.

I think that no matter how skilled we may be technically, there has to be a certain amount of "luck" or whatever one chooses to call it, involved with some captures. Thank you for your very kind comments on my "microcosmos", btw. Kurt

Thankyou Stu. This was taken whilst on holidays a few months ago on a farm on the coast of Queensland. It is a freshwater creek hidden from the public eye.

Kurt, you are very sweet. I just look around me and shoot. Sometimes I find things that appeal to others, other times they only appeal to me. The luck of the draw...LOL!!

This is beautiful, Judi. The log seems to divide the image into two distinct parts. The upper portion is stark, almost monochrome and a little hazy in the b/g. The lower part is like looking at a Monet as the colors and reflections dissolve into a swirl of chaotic beauty.
Some memories we want to drift away from; others we are afraid we will drift away from...
However do you find these images, Judi? Kurt

Excellent composition and amazing reflections!
The effect created by the water washing the shore is unique, magnificent.

Very well chosen title!

Kisses,

Florin
