Effective with the graphic style and only red and black. Unfortanly I have not seen any of Schieles work, but yours have both action and passion....

I am not so much of a painter, but as I told you his technique and the colors touch me a lot..I noticed what you say in his works, thank you because you gave me one more info about him!
I send you some words of him, weird person! Part of my article:
"Narcissism, exhibitionism, persecution-mania and great talent!" ....
?Even in the presence of well known men of imposing appearance, Schiele's unusual looks stood out ... He had a tall, slim, supple figure with narrow shoulders, long arms and long-fingered bony hands. His face beardless, and surrounded by long, dark, unruly hair. His angular forehead was furrowed by horizontal lines. The features his face were usually fixed in an earnest, almost sad expression, as though caused by pains which made him weep inwardly. ... His laconic, aphoristic way of speaking created, in keeping with the way he looked, the impression of an inner nobility that seemed the more convincing it was obviously natural and in no way feigned.?
Description by writer Arthur Roessler, one of his defenders and promoters.
?All beautiful and noble qualities have been united in me ... I shall be the fruit which will leave eternal vitality behind even after its decay. How great must be your joy, therefore, to have given birth to me.?
March 1913, letter written by him to his mother!
Schiele liked to give an impression of extreme poverty. His letters make it plain that he suffered from a degree of persecution mania - for example, he wrote in a letter of 1910:
?How hideous it is here! Everyone envies me and conspires against me. Former colleagues regard me with malevolent eyes?
While he was in prison he wrote: ?I do not feel punished; rather purified?; ?To restrict the artist is a crime. It is to murder germinating life.? ....

We were used with a very simple exercise: we withdraw a model (it's better a 3d percepiton than taking from photos) with a continuos line, rising the pencil as little as possible from the paper. I don't know if you're used to draw but is surprising.

thank you Owen, if you check my previous image , which has no pc work on it, you well see what this is. the initial shot was experimental, this one is pc work to resemble the painting style of Egon Schiele, just an experiment I sometimes make.

very fascinating and different for you. I like it. The meaning is inside you and I can only guess what it is. The diagonals are very strong the red-black contrast adds to the tension. It is very well done.

I am obsessed with him, when I was in Vienna I spent some hours to gape at his paintings... it is so different to see an image in a book than seeing the actual painting. The texture in his works and his imagination have kept me "awake" for some time! kiss, thank you again, you made me happy!

It's really a strong effect. The face and the right hand has a kind of attractive that remember Schiele's stylizations. Very powerful for the red-black contrast and fugue.
