This one is really great, Alison - a 6.8 - oh alright, a 7! This photo is, to me, all about layers and contrasts - dark and light, cold then 'warm', smooth then spikey. The only thing I think might add to it would be to darken the sky a little. Excellent shot and well seen!

Although we can see the snow in the foreground yet the sunlight and the tones of the grass gives the image warmth.
