About
This is super Shirley II, she is sad in this shot. Super Shirley I was a manequin head my dad got from a photo corespondence course he took in the 80s, I used her for a few projects and she died in a tragic glue accident, she was styrofoam, and she got eaten up. Super Shirley II is plastic. This is a film scan, however I can't wait to print this one! I could stand to be a bit denser negative, but I'll make it work.
Yeah I have a Yashica C and a 124 G, I just got them. The 124 takes great shots, so does the C with a little coaxing (f 8 and up) I like the C for double exposures and stuff since the 124 won't do that. I developed the macophot in d-76 stock for 8 min at 68 degress f just like the box says (I believe you told me the same thing too), I should have gone a bit longer for this one, it was a little under exposed, but the scan of the neg turned out great. Epson 4870 all the way baby! I'll try to print it once I get into the dark room next week, I think I'll be wishing I had grade 4 for this one, but we'll give 3 a shot. I do have some ilford mc, but I have no filters. bleh. Thanks Mark!
You have a 124G? I should've kept mine, but I needed the $$ for film & supplies. This looks so much different & better than the thumbnail. I don't know what developer you used, but it produced some really fine grain and high acutance. And to top if off, super rich tones. The lighting is classic. Really strong work, this one.
