Thank you Deb -- You have a special appreciation for nature in its natural beauty and that is what is evident in your portfolio which I have been browsing through. Thanks for sharing your vision.

With lighting like this you don't need manipulation, lol - it's an incredibly beautiful capture with the front blossom spotlighted (spotlit?) Those little dewdrops are exquisite.

Eh, sometimes I like it just like this, plain, simple and NATURAL! ;-) Very nice. Just the background is to visible.

SURE!! I would love to add to my PhotoShop resources. I started looking online to find new filters, etc. but have not really installed anything yet. My email is evsnetbox@sbcglobal.net. Thanks for your offer!

That was very generous, Alastair. I wish I could be consistent getting that focus.

Ok, I have to be honest - the "time" was 2 sec's - I have downloaded an action for PS that does all the work. :) I love this action and have tailored it to meet my needs - will be happy to send it to you if you have Photoshop. It might work with Elements also but not sure. :) Let me know if you want it or the site where I found it at. I am a HUGE "actions" fan now. :)

Much more dramatic! You made it positively glow! It is more artsy and less a recording of nature. Thanks for your input and the time you took to work with it.

I love this - wish I had your eyes. I love the color of these flowers so I would do a little manipulation to pull it out since the photo looks like a mid-day shot with some hot sun on it that washes them out. But again, this is a great shot (maybe you are just too used to it?). I attached my enhanced version below...

Evelyn, this is a fabulous close up of a flower! Keep on with these and you'll be scooping all the awards soon!
Beatiful detail and colours. You've done a great job of capturing the texture of the flower petals and the detail of the veins is superb. The use of a dark background helps bring the colours to the fore wonderfully! Well done!

Hi Evelyn... I think that good photos must be showed just as it is...in all it's beauty... On the other hand...you have a great shot to work with later on. Perhaps one day you'll see what to make of it..and I'm looking forward for that!! Thanks for sharing this wonder..
