| About |
Another Tomb stone from the Historic Christ Church in Irvington, Va. This one however is from the inner walls.
The inscription really spoke to me when I read it (In case you can't read it the inscription follows):
A Fond mother placed this stone in memory of her dutiful son Melville D. Noell, Who was both in Bedford, Va 25 Feb, 1810 and died 30 Sept. 1834
Melville was 24 when he died may he continue to rest in peace.
