I found it and started playing with it even as your last message hit my in-box. Oh boy! Fun - all sorts of techniques just in that feature - not to mention the rest that are available. Wow!

Easy to get carried away with the Liquify options in PS, Jan. It is at the bottom of the Image menu. FUN! Thanks for your interest and comment!!

I love it! This would make a beautiful applique in a quilt! Quilting is my major passion right now - but photography is creeping up fast!

Just have to learn how to do this technique. Jan

This is a neat picture. I like the way it turned out. I have only used PS once, but am hoping to learn more about it.
Mary
Thank you so much for your kind comments on my pictures. Being new at trying to take good pictures (3 months) your words are encouraging.

Hi Subhash -- I was just looking back through comments on my Liguid Gold pic and realized you had added your own pet jelly lilies for me to enjoy. (Sorry I did not see that sooner -- when I just read the comments through email notices the images do not come in automaticly.) I really DO like what you did and how those lilies turned out!!! Abstract while retaining all the vivid, beautiful color in a free flowing, watery texture and still identifiable as lilies. Do you frame your pictures and put them on a wall?

I really like the playing and think its amazing how you can have the true beauty of the flower with some amazing editing to make this flower look like its just melting away. Beautiful job.

Your english is just fine, Carla!! Keep taking all those great family pictures and if you get photoshop some day you can always pick out your favorites; adapt and play with them and then post the new versions. It would be fun!

Dear Evelyn,
Thank you very very much!
I loved what you did with that capture ( happy)!
You're an artist! I don't know how to use the PS, and I don't have it. But I would like to learn, as soon as possible.
Thanx for your kind comment!
It's a pleasure for me knowing you, and sorry for my poor english! :)
Regards, Carla

Excellent work! Very original, creative and visually appealing! The swirls you've added complement the flower beautifully, and the colour contrast from the green to the yellow works superbly! Really special! I like it!

I love this effect. The way it goes from swirl to real center of the rose is great. Excellent work.

Dear Merete, I am so sorry to see that you have pulled off all your pics again. I wish I knew what upset you and hope I did not contribute to it somehow. Where are you posting now?

Ooops -- I MEANT the RIGHT side of the pic -- Like you, I think it is more interesting too but the less detailed right side does add a little relief and contrast . . . ;)

Evelyn Mayes   {K:8132} 2/28/2005
I agree, Merete -- I think the left side of the picture is more interesting. Look forward to seeing what you are playing with now as well. Thanks for checking in on me.

Thank you, Nicole -- the hardest thing is to choose from all the strange and wonderful variations only ONE to post. Thanks for adding me to your friend's list -- I will do likewise with you because I am impressed by what I see in your portfolio. :)
