I cant remember the drummer's name but he is in a band called Duped. This is a fairly noisey image but it has some great colour and captures the live feel nicely.
I came across this software recommended by a Usefilm member. It takes the noise out of pictures and leaves them lookinga little surreal. Worth checking out and its free!
Good rock pictures are always noisy, look at the historical record. SIdenote: Interesting to see that the D100 has the same high ISO/noise banding issue as the D70... if you look at the top right hand corner, you can see striations in the black and yellow. To mitigate this effect, I select the large and more uniform colored sections of my photos and apply a slight blur. CCD's have their limits, and unfortunately severely underexposed shots seem to reveal most of them. It's better than film though :)
