Taken on Izumigatake in Sendai, Japan. The spring weather brings out the best in the foliage. In hindsight, I should have used a little fill flash for the blooms. This was before I had such knowledge. Scanned with a Minolta Scan Dual IV.
Mostly film? into M42? and dabbling with MF? Wow Stephen, that sounds like the story of my life recently. And this lovely picture is one I would be proud to have taken. I'll bet you have better skies in Spokane than you ever had in Japan, right? Glad you looked in on my photos, and thanks for the kind comment!
You caught a beautiful aspect of spring. I like the colors, but I do agree that some fill flash would have been most effective to bring out the flowers. Nice concept.
