Thank you for your comment. I thought this point of view was very interesting also. :) It gives some perspective to how flat/fragile these flowers are and makes you think about how much they can with stand even though they are so thin.

Hello Dana,
I'm shooting the bush type. They bloom all year around here since this is a tropical island. However there are a few different types here on island that don't bloom as often. I have seen some pretty huge blooms here but not sure of the exact size. :)

Your welcome, Hibiscus are such beautiful plants.
Are you shooting the Bush type or the perennial?
I know the perennial as the Chinese Hibiscus,huge
8" across blooms.
