hi gayle,

I see the Don just standing in front the mill ;-)

nice treatment, the soft look intensifies the aged impression. nice toning as well.

best wishes,

Excellent.. the sepia tone is perfect for this.

Well, it sure looks to me like those blades slice across the picture at a a nice diagonal. The toning is wonderful, making it look wet and mossy and right out of Holland.

hi, thanks for your viewpoint/critique...i think that the blade position is diagonal enough, but it is how i framed in-camera,so can't do anything about it as far as i know...i encourage and welcome honest opinions...drop by anytime!

OK, I'm gonna get myself in trouble now. The nearly horizontal blades effectively cut the image in two -- that bugs me. Sorry! Otherwise I like it pretty well. The contrast and toning make it look like an old, old photo, as does the subject. Who'd have thought it was a modern advertising gimmick?

gayle this is gorgeous, i'm glad it was misty, i don't think you wouldve got this beautiful effect if it was sunny... love the tonings too....
cheers
kel
