Still learning with PS, so cropped and played with the saturation a bit just to fill in for a bit of washout due to the lighting. The image lost a bit in the scanning process, but I guess that's what you put up with when you put film to pixel...
Thanks Angelo... This one was scanned from a print, tho' my pic's are split ~50/50 from neg vs from print, and yes, I get much better results from neg's typically. I am trying to work a film/neg scanner into the budget, but my minister of finance says no more capital spending projects right now... I did sharpen it as much as I could b4 it started to look pretty pixellated. Thanks very much for your comments/suggestions, Kerry
Nice photo. No distractions from the main subject, bar that little leaf partially blocking its head.
As for the scanning bit: did you scan a print or the negative? Scanning the negative usually gives much better results and many flatbed scanners have adapters to do that, if you don't have a film scanner.
And did you apply and sharpening filters? (Un-sharp Mask being the recommended one in PS)
