The child's face shows the level of trust she has for her father. I think that the composition is problematic because of the blown out background on the upper right, not enough of his face in this crop, and the arm and hand are awkward. See below the image the way I have cropped it. What do you think?

I didn't see the original but the composition works very well Alison...Kids are my favorite camera target and this one is very cute
