The "Random Pictures" on the right threw up this panorama. Vertical panoramas are fun, but they are very rare on Usefilm. I've taken lots of them, but then I'm an oddball kind of photographer... They are good, as this is, at tieing in two very different elements into a single picture. Well done! If there's a problem at all I don't think it's the shadows, but rather the slight over-exposure of the more distant scene. I have a plug-in to deal with that kind of thing, being no good at PhotoShop...

Thanks for the insight Jean-Pierre. I'm so glad you see it this way.
New Zealand is probably a landscape photographer's wet dream (ooops, am I allowed to say that?)lol.
Been here for three years now and although I get terribly homesick for Oz, I wouldn't leave if you paid me (well, maybe not just yet...)

I disagree about the shadows. I find that they add a certain comfort...like she was sitting in a shady spot to look out at the sea. This shot just increases my desire to head to New Zealand!

Nice Shot Rina
